where do you all purchase your english/dutch books? I wonder if there is place for a bookshop somewhere between Lagoa and Lagos or if most people just swap books instead of buying...

I think the Algarve Book Cellar at the entrance to Carvoeiro does book trading.

I found the Algarve Book Cellar very handy - loads of choice and a trade- in on your old books. If I remember right they will order in new books if you are living in CVO, also have a video section. Very friendly people!

the charity shop in Monte Carvoeiro and Lagoa are very good for cheap books
