Is this place worth a visit whilst I am in Carvoeiro? How long does it take to reach by car and which is the best route to take.
Thx

Yes, then you can say you've been there. N125 should take you around Lagos, then just head west as far as you can go - less than an hour. If you haven't been to Lagos, then stop there as well for a wander about.

Forteleza in Sagres is another landmark to visit while at the Cape St. Vincent. A couple of secluded beaches west of Obsipo(Sic?) worth a lunch if the little restos are still aberto.

I agree with the other posters. We went while in Carvoeiro in April this year and it's very worthwhile. Went to the lighthouse and a very large fort (name forgotten). Spectacular place and nice beaches (bit of a climb up and down though). Definitely go.
