Can anyone here tell me if theyve heard of or may be aquainted with 'Joan Lemmo' ?
I met this interesting and vital American lady the day before I came home from my recent hols.
I was sitting outside 'Classique 21' restaurant on that hot afternoon..having a drink with couple of brit ladies and Lagoan gent who works there.
Joan was walking thru with her poodle..and was asked to join us. We fell into conversation...and I found that Joan/ former actress...now director..had worked in Hollywood for many years. I was absolutely fascinated by her stories and we had common ground as she took a great interest in my son's acting career.
Joan is in process of making a short film in Algarve..not sure when it will be released. I told her about CVO.COM..and said I would mention her& her work here.
The film is centred on an eccentric lady resident in Algarve..who..wait for it...lives in a house filled with mannequines..these are placed in various positions in her home..all dressed in different styles..
Joan told me the film is to be called 'The Pink House'..
I stared at her in amazement as she related this to me..even saying "Youre kidding me?"

I have e-mailed her a week or so ago..but so far no reply. I have told her to look in on here. I know she sometimes uses internet cafes..so possible she may not have read it yet.

If so, she may be the woman you are speaking of and I'll dig a little deeper and see what I can find.

Interesting world.....House full of Mannequines !!!.....Nothing to do with this very interesting lady.......It just reminds me when I sold a Skeleton of a 14 year old girl (Had died of TB in 19th cent) to a man in London......I kept it in an old 15th cent Attic window peeping out.but some folk thought it was in bad taste.....anyway I first sold it to an Irishman who used it at Christmas on his horse and buggy ..but after taking it to the Pub...I bought it back..(Very Bad taste).....and sold it to this chap in London....on delivery I found that his house.....wait for it......had over 150 skeletons mounted all over the place...very eery.....he just collected them...
