Childcare

Our twenty year old daughter, who is presently living in Scotland, and is qualified in Childcare, would like to join us in Portugal. We are not sure about the availability of jobs, or how to go about accessing information. Has anyone got any ideas or advice ?

I'm just reading your comments. I recently moved to the Algarve and am a qualified Nursery nurse and have a university diploma in Childhood studies. I have been thinking of setting up a after school club or sitting service. Perhaps if there were a few of us we could put our heads together ???

I will be looking for daily childcare and babysitters when I move out to the Algarve later this year so I would be interested in finding out more about childcarers etc.

I would be interested to find out what you end up doing if you'd like to keep us posted!
