Time Gentlemen Please!

Post by Ellie »

Well..once again can't get into chitchat cos of 'debug' (only the 'christmas tale' one..with Digger's last post.)...
so this is not strictly 'cvo'..well could be..
Read that some pub landlords were having difficulty persuading drinkers to leave at closing time...and one landlord (others folllowed suit).hit on idea of playing Cliff Richard songs at the appointed time...and the pubs soon cleared....
What 'music' would drive you away from your favourite tipple..closing time or whenever?
H tells me it would be 'Celine Dione'...
J says 'Whitney Housten'....
With me..it'd be Bing Crosby singing 'white christmas'..specially when he starts to whistle :x ...
or any what I call 'wailing/agonising' stuff.......

I had to take a break from this pile of ironing..........

One of our local pubs has one of these new juke boxes boasting 2 million tracks (Via broadband). Mate of mine keyed in Max Bygraves and then chose "Tulips from Amsterdam". That did the trick! Mike, Chislehurst

Anastacia's "Sick and Tired" would probably be a good cue...

Right now, anything Christmassy (jingle bells in particular).

Hmm, maybe thats why I am so sober. Cannot stay in any pub long enough to finish my drink
