hi I really would appreciate it if you could tell me about the poco partido area of carvoeiro area as I need to make a descission on wether or not to cancel our holiday dependant upon the traffic noise!!!! that is stated in the brochure this has been an alternative villa tghat has been offered to us
please help

Depends exactly WHERE in Poço Partido.

Poço Partido is just off the main road from Lagoa to Carvoeiro but IS used as a cut through to the east side of Carvoeiro to avoid traffic in the town itself. I don't really think it should be too noisy unless you are on top of the little bar and small council estate there when you will get some motorbikes revving up etc!

Tell me where the villa is, name etc and I will try to be more helpful

thank you for your kind help it is very much appreciated, to be on the safe side we have chosen another villa that does not make reference to the traffic noise, it just seemed a little strange that it was mentioned if we complained about any noise we would have no come back as we had been prior informed

Mozzie noise past your ears is usually more annoying than trafic - get some of those electric mozzie killers as soon as you arrive!
