I was wondering whether you might be able to help me.
I am coming to Carvoeiro this summer and am catching the train form Faro to Estombar - Lagoa.
Will it be easy to get a taxi once arriving at Estombar - Lagoa or would
it be better to get off at Ferragudo?

Edward - Estombar is definatly closer. They are just finishing the road round the Carvoeiro Golf so you are in Sesmarias in a matter of minutes.

But will you get a Taxi in Estombar?

Well, ummm, good point - same goes for Ferragudo.

OK, just call cabbie Jose Manuel 967950192 if there are none and he will come or arrange for pick-up.

dont get off at estombar...hardly any trains stop there or feragudo...get off at silves..get the bus (if there at station) to silves and then get bus or taxi back to lago and carvoeiro

This sounds like pretty sound advice to me
