We have just been gazumped on our villa as the portuguese owner decided to sell it to someone else for a higher price even though we had agreed a price. I hear this goes on all the time but we are novices to this game! Perhaps i t is best to buy from an agent rather than privately, be grateful to hear any comments. Meanwhile we have seen on this site some new townhouses being constructed in Golden Club and wondered if anyone can tell us where it is? We are looking for a two bed townhouse or apartment so if anyone knows of anything for sale around 200,000 euros please let us know.

The Golden Club is between Carvoeiro and Sesmarias.

If you want a more central location, go to the DSI link on the real estate page on this site as they have some 2 bed apartments on Monte Dourado for sale.

We have purchased a 2 bed townhouse and its due for completion later this year. A tad behind schedule. Not sure how many are left in Phase 1 but I think that Phase 2 will be released soon if not already. 2 beds did start around 200,000 but not sure now. We were introduced to Golden Club by an agent (Bougainvillea) who were helpful but if we had found them ourselves we probably could have saved 5000 to 10,000 Euros.
