Are these an extension to the Monte Dourado Appts or on the west side of the out road. I though the land opposite the restaurant was waste ground witha few horses and chickens wandering around.
Any ideas?

There are signs up indicating that it may be connected to the new drain and sewage system

Well I hope its as nice, tidy (and almost 'pretty') a job as the one just installed in our village.
We're all very pleased and impressed; it fits very neatly into the surrounding beautiful countryside.
Hope same happens for Carvoeiro

Is it on the right hand side of teh cobbled road as you head up the hill having turned right of the out road just before O Rafaiol?

Thats the one, they have taken half the hill away to accomodate the station. I wonder if this means that the outbound road will also get some pedestrian crossings now...

Tks Mr G - so it is a single story pumping station. I thought it was going to be a multi story appt block.

Doesn't really matter, no one stops at them anyway

Not true - I stop 75% of the time - the remaining 25% is when I am on my way to lunch and am too hungry to stop
The sewage pumping station, if properly maintained should not be such a huge inconvenience - remember that carvoeiro square has a pumping station right underneath it yet the restaurants and bars around are still the first address in town.
