Is there a list of Restaurant Telephone Numbers in the Carveiro area, or do you have look up each Restaurant individually in the Telephone Book?
The Web Site is excellent, and does contain some Tel. Numbers plus contributors to the site also supply them when asked, but I was looking for a list of the most recommended Restaurants.
Is there such a thing?

At the back of the telephone books (listas telefónicas) i.e. the "yellow pages" part, you will find under "Restaurantes" most of the restaurants listed under each town for the Algarve. For Carvoeiro it comes under Lagoa. Hope that helps.

Sorry MikeS I meant to add at the bottom of my post that I don't know of any "recommended list"...maybe someone else has an idea on that.

Appreciate the info. Bruxhina. The recommended Restaurants I will take from the excellent information which is provided from time to time on the Message Board by contributors.
Having visited the Algarve and Carvoeiro in particular for the past 24 years I have a fairly good idea where to go for a good meal, but during the peak periods I find it is best to book in advance.
Carvoeiro has certainly changed a lot since I first visited (so have the prices), but it still retains plenty of character and we always look forward to our Annual visit.
