"Hole in the Wall" machines

I will be arriving in CVO on the 10th and would like some information please about the cah machine. I do not usually use one when I am abroad, but this time thought it might be a bit safer than bringing euros over with us, as from reading the messages about the robberies that have been going on in the villas it might be better.
I know there has been questions before on the Forum on this subject, but cannot find them at the moment.
I know the instructions will be in Portugeese at first, and then in English, but can someone please explain the system from getting from Portugeese into English, keys words etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you use an English bank card, the machine will automatically give you the option of languages.
Otherwise, the key terms are
Levamentos - withdrawal
codigo - your pin number
talão - receipt

Morning!
Not too bad today. I was very good at dinner last night and only had a few glasses of wine and an amarguinha.
All back to normal now and ready for the weekend!

Just going back to that original topic for a second
Watch out for charges from your bank. I understand that some of them charge nothing at all but others charge quite a lot on exchange rates, its worth giving your bacnk a call to find out.
