Anteak Bar
I would like to put in a little word for this cosy 'pub-like' bar situated on the out road of Carvoeiro if I may.
Previously the 'meet up' place for CVO.COM members on a Thursday evening..it is now run by the warm,sparkly-eyed Paula and partner Paul.
During my long stay I visited Anteak quite a few times..and though a slightly longer walk than my usual haunts I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed each visit!
The food is very good and considerably cheaper-the beverages too!
The staff are pleasing and friendly and include the winning Sarah late of Smilers
I partook of the fab. 'Broccoli& Stilton' quiche with salad a few times-a light nourishing lunch at 3 euros can't be bad?
Full English breakfast is 6 euros-but if you don't want to have a 'knife&fork' brekkie you can buy 'breakfast baguettes'!
All the meats are home-cooked and include boiled Ham,roast Beef and Pork..
If you want somewhere 'away from the madding crowd'..and this certainly is with its quiet calm ambience and which is also 'easy on the pocket' try it!
Good food-charming staff.Highly recommend
Opening hours 10am - 2am.

Go up Estrada do Farol as far as A Rede and Primavera restaurants, then take the right turn towards the sea - signposted Algar Seco.
Alternatively from the praia go up past the GNR and continue along the scenic road to the end.
If you look on the CVO Freemap, it is number 22.

Anteak Bar
Hi,
OK. So I've never been in the Anteak Bar
but it always sounded a great place. So the owners have changed, so what? It's the people outside the counter that make it what it is.
So my question is, why change?
