What star sign are you?
Do you have the characteristics set down by your sign ?
Are you surprised,if or when you read your sign for the day,that it seems to be true or at least some of it?
Does it influence you,when the sign says dont or do this? There are people who are guided by this, some of them famous in history,going back to Roman times and beyond.
I donot totally go along with it all butI have found that Ive have judged people to be a certainsign and been correct.Is it just coincidence?
Thought this might be a topic of interest--
Myself : March 21st--Aries but right on the cusp of Pisces so its fire & water mix.The planet Mars influences Aries -so can be disruptive -or on the other hand Pisces and you have a dreamer.
Hub is a Scorpio and according to the charts we shouldnt be together and relationship can be very argumentative--the Ram of Aries locking with the sting of Scorpio. Scorpios love the dark& mysterious& things slightly malevolent.
I would love to know your thoughts on this subject and whether you ring true to your sign--with 251 members on here now,it should be interesting.

Hi Ellie, What a coincidence because I'm interested in Astrology at the moment. I'm a Taurean - meant to be stubborn as a bull but dont think that applies to me. We're also meant to be loyal, trustworthy,dislike change but I have moved round for years and get itchy feet now. I am classed as an Earth sign and ruled by Venus planet of Lurve with Venus being in Gemini for my year of birth which states that I can be anxious for change. I'm meant to appreciate culture, good communicator, and capable of earning lots of money. In romance, Taurus and Taurus can be a complete success or complete failure. My ex husband was a Taurean too so guess who was the stubborn one full of bull!!!!!
I'm also interested in other things ie. tarot and something else but not telling coz its correctly predicted players to score, teams to win on UEFA, European and Serbia/England match (seeing my Dad's and brother in laws faces when Steven Gerrard scored that firsttime as predicted was a sight to behold!) Just need to sit down and go through lottery no's but havent found time yet. And maybe a few bets too??

You mentioned Tarot cards --I remember that my son--a cancerian and very true to the characteristics of the "crab" likes homelife & will crawl into his shell when things get too much !--took an interest in Tarot when he had the cards bought as a gift--but---the very first time he laid the cards out to do a "life reading" --the first card he turned over was "the Moon" -which Cancer is ruled by--he though it uncanny & was a little afraid-so, he stopped put cards away,and never got them out again!
My daughter,like you is a Taurean and she is true to the signs.Very practical,good with money,down to earth and "stubborn"-dont I know it!
Actually I get on very well with Taurus people-Im supposed to get on with opposite sign "Libra" but I dont for some reason and I can usually detect a Libran ( mind you they can probably detect me as well!)
as I mentioned,Hub is typical Scorpio( hes a real Stephen King nut which says it all) and though weve been married over 30 years we still argue-its almost a domination thing Ram V Scorpion.he can become very deep & involved while i have restless energy--example the other evening he was playing Crib with a mate-id finished writing & wandered in to them,I sat down and all I said was "Hows game going?"
I was called "disruptive" by Hub ! Its probably because I have no "patience" for sitting playing cards.
Have a relative whos Taurean-he married a Taurean and like yours it didnt last--maybe just one of those things--but maybe they needed the excitement of an "opposite!"

Out of interest why don't you get on with Librans?? And how do u detect that they are a Libran?

My friend is learning the tarot at the moment and is being quite successful with her predictions. Her work friend went to a professional to see what they came up with to compare and they gave same prediction and time scale. She also predicted an affair which she didnt know about before the reading and a colleague had to admit to it and she said she would get found out and the following week her hubbie found the suitcase full of sex toys in the wardrobe which had been there for 8 years with the mans photo inside I don't think she's getting much work done now everybody knows the outcome of that one!

My friends Mum is also a clairvoyant/tarot reader and she actually named my future husband and actually warned my friend a few years later about him (beware the Jeckyll and Hyde) which is what he was and still is - shows the charming side to his family and new faces but close friends saw the guard dropping and were glad when I left him. Portugal has also been mentioned a few times when I never even give any clues so it amazes me how these gifted people do it.

I dont honestly know the answer to your question -only know,Ive met certain people in life and havent liked -is it an instinct ? not sure---and its the truth thye have mostly turned out to be Librans--but-- I did have a friend once who was one and we did actually get on well-she was nearer to virgo I think--I knew Margaret Thatcher was a Libran without being told--maybe its because theyre so different to me in character--Im a very open person and I like people to be open with me-but in saying that Im pretty sure there are many(Librans) thatI would get on with--now Im being"sheepish" not a "ram"!
Iread with interest your tales of Tarot-it does worry me a bit -tampering with these things -bit like ouija board-----my sister& family did this one night long ago--and they told me that "something" was there and things moved around -that sent the shivers up my spine--same with books of theoccult-my son -whena teenager -got into Dennis Wheatley books and suffered terrible nightmares especially reading "Haunting of Toby Jug"-hisschoolteacher warned him off it- told him a friend had something bad happen getting involved with such books.
So---although Im interested in the star signs -I stay well away from these other darker subjects.

Get a life! The paterns of a few stars that are visible to the naked eye are not going to affect your life one jot.

You probably also believe in fortune tellers.

Gullable or what! People who write star predictions and clairvoyants are 100% charlatens, just out to make some easy money.

Taurus - as you may well have guessed by some impulsive and often aggressive replies to the "red-cloth" topics but still calm enough to sit and type them with a grin on my face

I always found horoscopes very inconclusive and rarely useful even though the descriptions leave quite some room for interpretation.

It's good to see you have an open mind on this subject. I don't see anything wrong in showing an interest in astrology, etc. I also have interests in ufo's - have seen very large triangle one many 20 yrs ago and recently. The following day it was on the news witnessed by many other people in my area. Also have interests in ghosts, The Pyramids, Inca Monuments etc.

When I was 16 my friends cousins house was unfortunately occupied by a poltergeist and frequently they had to put up with everything inside being wrecked etc. Quite common I believe when teenagers live there.

Does this make me a boring person?? I find having an interest in something where humans can't guarantee an explanation quite stimulating - dont know whether other ladies who need to get a life would agree with me on that one? Should we be filing our nails instead?

Modern science has historically developed from professional people who years ago were actually psychics, astrologers etc. Modern drugs etc. originate from herbal remedies which again are now becoming popular and indeed saving lives in the fight against cancer.

This might seem boring to a lot of men but a lot of women find the weekly ritual of when men stand in a pub and watch, discuss football quite boring.
