I know this is a rather unseasonal request but where is the best place to hunt down patio tables?

all depends on what sort you want, Mestre Maco in Lagoa has plastic and wooden ones at reasonable prices, if you have a card for Macro at the Algarve shopping centre they also have a range.
We went to the pottery opposite Porches pottery and bought a stone table and benches for our place as we get a lot of strong wind and the plastic or wooden ones would blow about too much.

Hi Optimistic(Love the name)
I agree with Lesley-Jean that a lot depends on what sort of quality (and actual material) that you are seeking....Wood, Plastic, Stone etc....

Pref wood or stone although I have to confess to not having seen too many stone tables - Mestre Maco never appear to have an awful lot of choice.

All the local pottery shops have a variety of stone tables on show - have a look at any of them along the N125 for ideas.

We had a nice marble table made, which you can use inside or out,the only problem is you need a crane to lift it!!!!
