Does anyone know if I can purchase soya margarine, soya milk and wholemeal flour in Carvoeiro and if so where?

We will be visiting in August and have a child with food allergies and would prefer not to have to bring the products with us from England.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Soya Milk can be bought as easily as normal milk, at InterMarche and probably every little minimart, certainly the one in Monte Carvoeiro sells it, I bought some there last week. On the others you requested I'm afraid I have no experience so can't say. Hope that might knock a couple of kilos off your luggage haul! 8)

For anybody who is smart enough to stay away from food that has more "E"s than an epileptic electric eel - Continente in AlgarveShopping (Guia) has a wide selection of natural food products including soya milk, soya cream, etc.

I think that is a topic heading in itself Rosalind - Shoes, how many pairs does one need for a fortnight in the Algarve? Any advice around packing shoes? How to decide between slingbacks and something with a strap? Trainers, fashion or/and fitness? Actually thinking about, I think there is at least a thesis in the subject and if you push it, I reckon some of us could get a phd.
