A new restaurant has opened in Benagil called Arribas D'Benagil which I would highly recommend. If you are coming to Benagil from Carvoeiro instead of turning left to go down the steep hill to the beach you go straight on at the roundabout and it is there on the right hand side. It has an extensive menu with varied dishes, not the same old same old that you find in most restaurants. I had mussels in a tomato, onion and, if I'm not mistaken, cheese sauce for starter and my main meal was venison which was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately I was too full to try the desserts. If anyone is looking for a different place to try this is definitely it.

I agree that this restaurant is very good, ate there last week had good service and food would recommend it!

When I went there was a couple of families with children and apparently they do have a childrens menu, so if the main menu is anything to go by it should be okay.

Being a home owner on QDparaiso when We're there for three weeks and with a family to feed every day anybody with any sense has to budget.. I.e..1 night we eat at like Bon Bon or Orange reastaurants for about £20 pp
then alternate nights we may eat at Escondidno for £5 pp. Obviosly Z has more money than sense and doesn't care how much he pays!
Interested to know if he's a foreign resident with loads of money or just arrogant. Also having owned for 10 years we like to try new restaurants each time we visit( 4 times a year)

Have you noticed that it is only the anonymous or those who we have never seen of or heard of before who post "nasty" responses?

Everyone prepared to give some details about themselves tend to present much more sensibly. Additionally why make your first/second appearance on a forum attcking?

There have been comments made by some that regular users of this forum have created some sort of "in" club atmosphere that inhibits others from joining but looking back over the membership, I notice just how many people got a welcome to the forum when the first posted and have gone on to become much loved and valued contributors (you don't have to agree with everything everyone says but you can always be courteous)

In answer to Tony's question you would pay on average 30 euros p/p for 3 courses and wine. I don't think they take credit cards/visa at the moment. Hope this helps.
