Free Flights!

Post by Graham »

BMI have just sent me an email advertising 200,000 free flights (pay only
taxes etc), including flights to Faro, available from Sep 1 2003 to March 2004. Online booking commences at midnight tonight (Friday 11th) at bmibaby.com

Unfortunately it is of no use to me (at 6'5 I simply don't fit in their seats) but I would be fascinated to know if anyone actually manages to grab one of these free flights

Good luck to the night owls trying to book

I checked the website for details.

Apparently BMIBABY flights to Faro only depart from East Midlands airport.
One of the few exclusions from this offer is East Midlands to Faro.

Does anyone else see anything different ?

FREE FLIGHTS

Post by croeso »

Just tried to use the 'offer' to book flights from Cardiff to Palma in September - without success as only the FULL price is shown. Looking at the list of booking conditions the very last condition states 'Applies to ONE-WAY tickets ONLY'. Does not appear to be the not to be missed offer it first seems.
Regards to all in CVO from a very sunny & hot Wales (for a change).

When we dig down and see just what these offers really are or are not, I wonder if we end up being even more antagonistic towards the company promoting them.

I've been collecting tokens in ther Daily Mail, which purport to give me a free ticket to Faro and one day they'll publish how to redeem the tokens. The address is a big secret, or I missed the tiny 4 point woirding in one copy.

I wonder if Marketing is doing these companies more harm than good.

Who remembers the Hoover free flights debacle :?:

Earlier this year the Daily Mail ran a weekly cheap flight thing. The first week was Faro and I rang in and got cheap tickets so me, my Mum and sister came to Carvoeiro for 5 days in March. It was great and we saved about £60 each. Was worth it.
