• map from carvoeiro to sesmarias in carvoeiro

hello all.

can anyone advise me on how i can get a map from the airport to my villa in sesmarias carvoeiro. i am renting out my villa for this year and can print off, from the carvoeiro.com site directions from the airport to carvoeiro but have no directions from carvoeiro to sesmarias. can anyone advise me. thanks to all for their help and time.

Hi Ros

Try going to multimap.com - you can get directions AND a map from this website. You can adjust the scale of the map to suit & select a version that can be printed. Even provides aerial photos - isn't modern technology great? Anyway I hope this is what you are looking for - have a go!!

do we know when the maps will be available from carvoeiro.com regarding the new motorway.

. After roundabout at Lagoa take Carvoeiero road , at the first junction bear right signposted to Gramacho and Pinta golf. At the first roundabout take the newly tarmacced road 1st right and carry on until you go over a mini roundabout and then into Sesmaries

thanks guest for your directions they are much appreicated. are they going to have a map on our carvoeiro site from airport to sesmarias

i dont want to get lost on my first visit this year

The new map they produce will I assume replace the Airport to Carvoeiro
map.The difference will be when you come off the motorway into Lagoa you will approach from the opposite direction and will take a right turn to the Carvoeiro road at the roundabout and then the directions for Sesmaries will be as I posted before. Just a guess but from the road layout I think this is correct. TW.

If you want to cut 10km off your airport to Carvoeiro trip, I suggest you continue to use the old route, taking the turn off in Alcantarilha and following the old EN125 to Lagoa.

The new motorway brings you very much closer to Slives and it hits the EN125 behind Lagoa, meaning you have to turn back to go to Carvoeiro. It is really only an effective alternative if you are going to continue to Portimão
