I have had a peek, good stuff and once again gets me thinking just what sort of work could I do in the Algarve so I could live out there too - they probably don't want another couple of Criminal Justice System Professionals!!!! (Also noticed not every country seems to pay as well the good old UK - obviously don't tell anyone in Senior Government that!)

Thanks Mads for kind comments and all your support --was just thinking of what you said about re: finding employment in CVO --what say we get together and open a "lighting" shop ? Bulbs of all shapes sizes colours --could lighten our lives and maybe a few others! Perhaps put a bit of "colour" on the praia at Christmas time--if recent Christmas lights were anything like last years affair--a "strange looking" sticklike tree witha few white lights and "nada" at all in Lagoa!
Coop--did you get the sign up for download? I did --I just clicked on "cancel" and it went onto publish. site and preview page.But Ill have another look and make sure.

Thanks for your very kind words of support--theyre much appreciated!
But got a feeling -the book of shorts may be some time coming-as Ive been bit lazy last week or so!
You see, Im writing from memory--I kept no diary at all whilst I lived there-not even notes. Hub had some notes to do with workshop orders and some folk we met -but not very much!
Jamies been a great help as being young his memory is razor sharp and he often tells me little details that Ive forgotten!
Glad you enjoyed the first "taster"-that was just half of the first story-we spent the next day travelling to Salamanca---then the long long drive to Badajos and into Portugal!
Believe youve recently had hol in CVO? -hope you had great time!

What sweet words of encouragment Mike-Thank you so much--with such support as yours, Mads, Coop,Loretta it spurs me to work harder and (hopefully) better.
Youre truly great mates and I keep you all very much in mind as I write.
