Why do postings appear so much later (after I have written them)? Do the admins read every posting before they publicize them? Do these precautionary measures obtain only new members or is that a general rule?

the forum clock/time seems to be about 18 minutes ahead of real time,and as far as i know,posts are not screened before appearing..!
after all there is no need to...we are all very polite and courteous on this forum....enjoyed your jokes and welcome to the forum

Try hitting the "refresh" button after posting your message, it usually appears then.

At home I have no problems, it seems to be a "job-phenomenon".
