I hear Hemingways is closed now and up for sale. Does anybody know what Murray and Hazel's future plans are and where Pat is working now?

Thats quite a surprise Heini.. I liked the cosy atmosphere of Hemingways, and Hazel & Murray were such nice friendly folk, Pat too, and the other lady 'Jo' I think her name is? Shame that.
But whatever Hazel & Murray move on to, I wish them all the best!

This has made me think of the Anteak bar, and Paula & Paul..wonder how they're doing as well?

A friend of mine has always been interested in Hemingways, any idea of price and who is selling it?

Hemingways is open as usual now - it was closed for a couple of weeks, but normal service seems to have been resumed!

The first few times we were there (April/May time) it was a very nice bar. We went back about a month ago, and the people working there just could not care less whether they served us or not. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but we haven't been back since.

Perhaps ownership and/or personnel has changed after all?

The bar was closed for a couple of periods during June but when open I am sure that the normal staff were there. From what I gather there is some dispute between the owner, the tenant and sub tenent.

Have not been back since the end of June so do not know the current position.
