this became law on the 10th Jan 2009, as far as i am told. so, you will not have needed this energy certifcate last october. you can relax now, but you will neede it now to rent your place, or to sell in future. it is valid for 10 years.

Has anybody recently used a local company to do this energy certificate. just curious as to what different companies are charging for this job.

if an one else has gone through this process recently it will be nice to know how they got on, and if technical inspection charges have gone up since i had mine done for euro 252.

Just wondering if any one has lately bought or sold a property where by they were asked for energy certificate by NOTARY at the time of escritura (deeds).
Any recent information in this matter will be interesting to know.
