Blackberry

Post by mike123 »

Hi ,does anybody know if Blackberry is well supported by the mobile service providers in Portugal.
In other parts of the world you simply pay a blackberry subscription fee(minimal) and you get unlimited emailing and internet options on your Blackberry mobile
Is it the same in Portugal?

Hiya;
to start with, I don't really know what tariff I'm on with Vodafone (I think I pay about £35-40 per month) but I can tell you that I received and sent e:mail messages as normal from my Blackberry on the three visits I've had to Carvoeiro this year. I can't recall being aked to pay additional charges for the privilege though.

You will have no trouble with your blackberry here in Portugal, the system works perfectly.

hi

i used my blacberry recently in portugal i wa charged heavily by service provider in uk, so please pre purchase a internet use bundle before you arrive and use the emails, internet and send, photos, etc, it is quite :roll: :oops: expensive, if you havent bought the 3-10mb use of internet for pre agreed time scale when in portugal. usual basic bundle costs about £3,oo for 2 weeks for 3 mb usage in total,, this is with orange in the u.,k as sevice provider. you will be paying roaming rate for blackberry usage when in portugal.

so please carefully agree and check with your service provider in UK. before using it abraod.

good luck
