Hedges & Fences

Can anyone recommend a good source of advice, materials and expertise for garden hedges & fencing? Our property currently has a rather sparse hedge and mesh fencing but needs additional sight and sound screening from neighbouring properties and a road.

Does hedging grow in Oman?

Hey just foolin. A good place at buy at greatprices is the garden centre run by the two young dutch guys on the way to Silves, just outside Lagoa. You have to take the signt hat says local access of the first roundabpout noeth of Lagoa. We just planted a headge of bay trees, and it is ding great, despite being planted in very hard rocky ground.

They grow a lot of the stuff thermselves, and have quite a variety.

Hi BobT

You say you are planting Bay trees for hedging does that work ok? we will be wanting something that grows fairly quickly, low maintenance and also reasonable priced also something a bit different. will certainly give the place you mentioned a look and if Bay trees fit that description well...........watch this space..........
