Looks like we've been ripped off!

At the end of December, we bought a load of furniture online to ship out. We ordered the bedroom furniture from pinesolutions.co.uk, who were great. They didn't have the dining tabke we wanted, so we ordered that, along with the chairs, tv stand and sideboard, from homeandgardenfurniture.co.uk who haven't delivered and are not replying to emails. Their website is still up and running but all of the contact details have been removed. WE paid with a Visa credit card, so hopefully we will be covered but it's very annoying.

I think you are covered for money that you cannot claim elsewhere (i.e. insurance etc) from credit cards. I have a feeling that Amex is 90 days, but no idea on the others.

How annoying for you though.

We wanted the stuff out there at half term so we could get everything shipshape.

Gutted for you LB. A real pain in the proverbial when you've obviously worked it all out to happen over the half term holidays. Really upsetting that someone could do this.

They have propably joined that lenghthening list of companies that have gone bust.

You will be one of many unsecured creditors and the Credit card company is your best bet for any recompense.

same thing happened to us few years ago with Villlapac - ordered stuff in the UK but only some of the order turned up and then no answer when follow it up .Best getting furniture in Algarve - I know it takes longer but better service
