VCR Repair

Does anyone know where I can get my Panasonic VCR repaired?
I still have old video recording that I like to play and the sound is not not working.

This was always the result when the Scart lead was not securely plugged into the VCR machine or Television Have you checked Might be a simple fix

I would look on eBay, it will be cheaper than getting it repaired.

You could replace it with a combined VHS/DVD Recorder (Toshiba make one, and probably other manufacturers as well) which will enable you to transfer all of your VHS recordings on to DVD.

If it's only a small number of tapes you could try to find a friend that could transfer them to DVD for you or failing that try a PC shop or commercial service.
