Cost of cleaner and pool/gardener

Post by Rosaleen17 »

Hi everyone,

I need to change my cleaner and pool/gardener as I am not happy with their cleaning and wondered if anyone knows the average cost for this either by the hour or changeover.
If you can PM or answer through forum that would be great.
Many thanks
Rosie

Thanks to pm messages and replies, I have pm direct to you. Thanks again Rosie.

To Pato, I wanted to know what a fair price to pay for a fair days work and what other owners would say is a fair wage to pay their maid gardener/pool person, it has nothing to do with the fact that I live in Canary wharf (not whafe) and that "you're worrying about costs" I am worried about the cost when I am getting constant complaints about the cleaning of pool and upkeep of garden to which I pay 300 euros per month and a further 200 euros a month for maid service when the maid is not cleaning our villa to an adequate standard. This forum is great for getting good advice for owners and there is always someone who knows or can help when one of us needs advice or help with our home not for remarks as you stated.

Just a jest and a typo! I pay top whack for pool cleaning so I've been informed, 90 euros a month all year, the pool is perfect so I go along with the cost. I'm not sure what I pay for the maid I'll look it up, whatever it is I again pay all year. The garden! well mine is small and grassless and it never looks anything so I stopped the gardener scratching the surface of the soil, after a year or so it looked like a sci-fi stage set so I've more or less been forced to employ someone to titivate and water it,there you are, that's better isn't it. :D
