Pool cleaning

Hi all. Could you advise if you keep up with 2 visits a week for pool cleaning in the winter as well as the summer? Would one visit a week suffice through the winter months?

UNLESS..... you rent, then 2-3 visits a week are required in the summer, especially if its a family with kids

once per week in winter is fine.

As a matter of interest what is a ballpark figure for pool-cleaning per week/month/year - private villa not let and only used intermittently.

We pay our guy 70 per month (including chemicals etc.), but he also does odd jobs and fixes for no extra charge.

I do not use the pool in the Winter and so I cancel pool cleaning between 1st November and 31st March - but my guy charges me E85 for a twice weekly service for the rest of the year.
