Swimming Pool Maintenace

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a reliable swimming pool maintenance man, please.

In normal non Covid times, my family and I use our Villa for 5/6 months per annum. I used to use the chap in Lagoa - but every time I asked a question he put his prices up - going from E60 per month to E110 in 3 years. In November last year, I then changed to a chap in Val D'el Rei at E60 per month. Sounded like a good deal - but from the state of the pool in July and then in September, if he maintains the pool more than once a month (or at all without being summoned in) I need persuading.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated - including the viability of DIY.
