TV LICENCE

Post by MALLYMAL »

Please can anyone help out a new muppet by advising whether we need a TV license in Portugal if all we plan to do is watch DVDs on the very rare rainy day? :?:

If my memory serves me right these were done away with some years ago. I hope I am right in saying that there is no such thing. Will find out and revert.

TV licensing was done away with a few years back but was resurrected last year as a fixed charge (I think about €1.30 per month) on the EDP electricity bills - so you don´t got any choice - mind you €15 per year isnt much

compared to GBP120 in the UK...and there is also no need to hire thousands of enforcers to sniff out people who own illegal sets.
