I remember getting some really useful info on Broadband awhile back...and now I cannot find the post

Probably been alot of water under the bridge since and things have moved on. Who are the best providers?

I use these guys and find them excellent

www.cyclopnet.pt

Cheaper than Telepac/Sapo AND if it goes wrong they are small enough to to care about sorting it out. The boss 'Mr Joao' speaks good English

Hi. We are on clix (www.clix.pt) broadband out in the wilds of Silves. We pay 22 euros per month for 2GB download. We are in "clix zonas". If you are in "outras zonas" there is another price...not 100% sure but think it may be something like 34 euros per month. Don't know if that is of any interest to anyone.

Cabovisao's package gets you 48 channels but you only get Sky News,Eurosport 1&2, BBC prime and CNN in english. Other channels like MGM, Fox, Hollywood, VH1 or MTV have many english language films/programs with Portuguese subtitles. The rest of the channels are made up of Portuguese,Spanish,French and German channels.
