Cold Nights

Hi All

Just bought an old quinta has wood burning fire in one room but need to heat rest of house. Have heard about some marble/stone heaters which attach to the inside walls does anybody have any info on how efficent and much these cost to run. Any good alternatives to these as I need a nice warm house have a very cold wife.

I resort to cheaper means to keep my wife warm......

I have a wood burning stove in the lounge and duct it into the main bedroom and this is absolutely fine for the winter (leave the fire burning 24/7 and use good quality oak). I do have granite slabs in two of the bathrooms and they are very effective as heaters and towel rails. However, they are not cheap to buy. Running cost depends on the number of Kwatts (size) that you opt to buy. I bought mine from Edatherm and have not been disappointed.
