Sofa Upholstery

Post by TASCarvMar »

Hello. :)

I have two sofas (one being a sofa bed) that are in urgent need of re-covering. Can anyone tell me if there is a local company that would be able to help.
many thanks.

I used a guy from Portimao to do exactly the same. He works from home but speaks no English and can be contacted on 282 475 303. It cost me about 1000 euros (600 for materials and 400 labour) for a sofa bed and two armchairs but that was a couple of years ago.
There is another guy on the outroad (going towards Lidl) from Ferragudo but i have no contact details
Hope this helps

There's a guy in Ferragudo "Estofador" just past the yellow Vitors Village houses on the left as you come in from Lidl. Doesn't look much on the outside but did a good job for restuffing cushions for my sofa.

Hi

We used a portuguese guy in Lagoa. He recoveed and repaired a victorian buttoned chesterfield for us. Great joob heamde. he supplied the material too. He can be found in the narrow one way road bbehind the market (not immediately behind but one back. Go past the market 50 metres and turn right, and follw the road. About 50 metres before the end there is brown painted metal garage door on your left. Knock on the door that is his small workshop.
