Would like info/advice from any of you 'regulars'on a local estate agent to sell my property Monte Santo.Also perhaps a local solicitor,as when we purchased, ours was in Villamoura and not brilliant!but now based in Lisbon! Thanks

Would recommend Vernon. Their office is just off the square near the bottom of 'restaurant hill'. Ask for India or Claudia. We bought our present place a couple of years ago through them and only last month sold an apartment we have had for a number of years. Excellent service.

I would highly reccomend EDL estate agents on the out road near the square, lawyer I would use are Lammy & Alves further up on he out road

I would also highly recommend EDL with Nelson Reis being the gentleman that assisted with our purchase. He has continued to be a great help to us over the last three years.

Elfie, Nelson took us round showing us various properties & gave us very helpful advice & put us onto the property we eventually bought in 2008 & we found all the people there most helpful. We still pop into see them when we are over in Carvoeiro & have a coffee with them all at Emprevista.

Thanks you all,will pop in to local agents when in village next month,but bear in mind what you say about out of towners too!
Do they all work no sale no fee? Otherwise could be an expensive do!
