Car Ferry to CVO

Post by maccasa »

I know several of you have travelled by ferry from UK to Spain - I am hoping to do so this spring, so what's the recommendations? Portsmouth or Plymouth (I guess the latter as it's only one night)- Is there only one ferry company? - Brittany - which is the best boat?

Any tips? what do we need to carry for the customs/police.

thanks in anticipation

Pont Aven from Plymouth is - in my opinion - most pleasant experience. Book outdoor cabin with TV.

Regulations change all the time so you'll need to check when you sail, but you should have your vehicle V5, MOT certificate, green card insurance, warning triangle, Hi Vis jacket.

At present - passenger locator form, vaccination app, negative antigen test and Portuguese residency if applicable.
