Many thanks for the information.
Do I understand that the proposals have now officially become law?
I don't follow the sliding scale calculations. Can someone explain in simplistic terms how to do so.
Am I to understand that on property valued at 500,000 Euros that SISA of only 10,800 Euros is payable?
Please explain and advise.
Many thanks.

Sisa Tax
The changes wee published in the Diario da Republica on Friday. The new tax levels will be operative on Monday morning.
I will post the update on the Finance section - God and Steen willing!
One new move is that promissory contrcats will have to be produced to the Notary at time the Deed is celebrated.
