Sundays

Post by tricky »

Why is it always our first/last night on a Sunday?
when we are limited to the restaurants open. I did read that the retail hours for sunday opening were about to change, would this mean that maybe some more restaurants would think about opening on Sunday.
Its always a problem finding somewhere decent open. Has anyone got any recommendations?

The restaurant that cannot be named at Caneiros is always a good bet for a Sunday

We often come in on a Sunday night, usually after 9-30, (the Gatwick flights) and have always found A-Gale open. Failing that A-Rede, or Casa Bife

Are the restaurant opening hours listed in the restaurant section of the FAQ?

I'm afraid, that restaurant with no name is now under new management and the food is awful.

Avoid it if you can.

The restaurant that should not be named at Caneiros - under new management ? can someone confirm - was there recently and most of the staff were the same - food very good as always although their expansion could be the first step down the pan - let's face it, success almost always kills a restaurant. In this case let's definitely hope not.
