I've never been but recommended it to friends to try when they were out in April. Worst meal they had in Carvoeiro. They loved Ele and Ela amd Primavera Garden so they obviously have taste.

They said it was overpriced and the king prawns were mini and tough!

We've eaten there twice. The first time was OK, but the second was poor, and relatively expensive. We've not bothered to go back.

We have been there over the last 3 years and always had a good meal and they always made a fuss and remembered us and teased Richard.
We did not go last year in October as we were so busy and trying other places. We shall give it a go and report back, as it looks as though standards may have slipped

Been there a couple of times and didn't think much of it..seemed a bit snotty, cliquey and expensive for what it was..wouldn't bother again.Ive had better meals.

Its like O Patios in the square. I had lunch there one day,on my own. When they brought the bill I nearly fell through the floor! When I paid it I said " I only wanted lunch, not to buy the place!"

Always had a good meal and never had a problem with the food .Not always but on occasions there is a problem with the head waiters attitude. When we were over in February we booked but when we arrived staff at the gates were turning people away as the main fuse box had been hit by lightning and they were completely without power.Just hope its sparked up the head waiter.

On our first visit we ate at Julios quite a lot but on our last 3 visits we have tried but the food has been quite poor we always eat there once just incase it has improved as i love the setting and it is round the corner from where we stay but last year was the worst meal we have had there but i'm sure we will try it again on our next visit :D

Just returned from the St. Patricks post-AGM dinner here and can only say it was faultless.
Everyt item on the (limited) menu was well presented, well cooked, and well served.
Having not been for several years following a bad experience, I am prepared to give it another chance based on this excellent mass production meal.

I had a lovely meal here at the end of April. Had Garlic Prawns and Dourado fish , my friends had prawns and steak - food was really nice. The head waiter is lovely - you just have to get to know him!

I have been a regular at Julios over the years but for the last 2 years I've avoided it, I felt the quality of food had deteriated from it's usual high standards, this may only be a personal opinion of mine, I'm sure others love it.

The head waiter takes some understanding and whether you need to take the time to accept his unique personality I don't know, I find him strange and sometimes rude and snobbish. Agreed though, it's a lovely setting and location, might give it a try again this year, in the meantime I'll stick to Bella Vita in the Atlantico, Yummmie!!

Have visited Julio's a few times I've been to Carvoeiro, usually as a "treat" or for an occasion such as a birthday. Was there on Saturday and was a little disappointed with service (which was very slow) but the food was very good. Expensive for what it is, though. It was very busy....
