I went into CVO today to see Phil , the owner of Medina on the in and out road.
Medina has gone , in its place is Taste.
I wondered why they had changed the colour scheme.
Its owned I believe by the owners of Ele & Ela , I know there food is good and having looked at the prices decided to give it a try.
Its a tapas type restaurant , but as it was lunc h time I didnt look at the evening meal ( sorry ).
I ordered salmon fish cakes with lemon mayonaise and a side salad , it came with two fishcakes and a three chunks of french bread , and I had the half I couldnt eat for my tea.
Good portion , reasonable price and very tasty.
( and no I am not on commission !!! )

Gary and I also visited Taste and thoroughly enjoyed. That was the night we bumped into Roy (4eyes) and Carol, think I'd had a bit too much of their delcious 'house' dry white wine, which, I may add, was just gorgeous.

We aim to visit soon. As a note to Kimmy and Harald, we went to check the menu, out of interest, and met another couple attempting to do the same. They also wondered when it was open. No menu, and no opening times outside the restaurant, which was closed at the time. Think it would help to publish this info, particularly on the Rua do Baranco side. Hope you don't mind the comment.

And no I wasnt tiddly unless they spiked my pineapple juice !! ( I was driving and it was lunch time !!!! )
Mind you good salesmand that the bar man was he did offer to put vodka in my juice ( must have looked like I needed it ? )
