Farewell Forno do Fraser
Farewell Forno do Fraser
Well, if no one else is going to mourn its demise, I will!
I know there were mixed opinions about their pizzas, but I really did enjoy their brave & spicy toppings. Have been making do with Mamma Mia's for the occasional carby treat, but, while their bases are nicer (and thinner), their toppings are a bit underwhelming. *sigh*
Also, has anyone tried the Indian restaurant that's replaced Fraser's? Did Carvoeiro need another Indian restaurant? Does anyone know if it's the same people as O Indiano and the Castelo one?

Re: Farewell Forno do Fraser
I didn't know it had gone. We always had a great time and good food at O Lugar, and then when they moved to Forno do Fraser we did the same, although the size made it less lively. As I sometimes go out to CVO on my own it was one of the few places I felt comfortable taking a book and eating on my own. Lyn and/or Fraser would often stop to chat. I will miss it, and I wish Lyn & Fraser all the best for the future.
