Greek Restaurant Clube Carvoeiro?

Erm, so, yesterday whilst walking The Belligerent Terrier, I was stopped by a Scandinavian family in a car asking for directions to a 'Dionysos' restaurant, which I'd never heard of, but from what I could make out from their hastily-scribbled map, was somewhere on Clube Carvoeiro (I duly sent them in that general direction).

Is there another Greek restaurant on the Algarve? The only one I'd previously heard of was 'Phillippos', which used to be in Montechoro and is now in Almancil, I believe- and I'm not counting Onze.


I *heart* me some Greek food, nom nom, so it would be nice to know if anyone in the area has tried/heard of the oh-so-imaginatively-named taverna.

Sorry to burst your bubble but this sounds like Escondidinho (The Ritz), the owner was called Dionisio. The closest thing to advertise Greek specialities is Onze in Carvoeiro

Nothing Greek there that I have seen on my visits

I can recall they had some greek starters last year prob because the owner , Dimitri , is Greek.
