Julio's, Chef Antonio,Bon Bon etc
Julio's, Chef Antonio,Bon Bon etc
Restaurants in Carvoeiro fall in and out of favour over the years. The three above used to be very popular,
it would be nice to know if anyone has been to either recently. I'm sure there are others that we could use on update on.

We went to Julio's last week and the food was excellent as always (lovely fresh seabass) and great ambience. I would highly recommend this restaurant but best to book as it's always busy.

Follow the road up restaurant hill going out of the town passing The Tivoli Almansor Hotel - continue on past Centianes Beach and Julio's is the next restaurant on the left just after the turn for Vale de Milho.

We ate at Julios in June this year and the bill came to 70euro for 2, 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 bottle of wine.

went to Julio's last night; it's very difficult not to like it, it looks nice, has nice furniture, fun friendly staff and a shortish but delicious menu,
lots of fresh cooked food available, steaks, fish etc., wife & friend had lamb stew, dish of the day, was delicious, I had a pepper steak, lovely; others had steak tornados & turkey fillets, a very enjoyable evening,
couverts, starters, mains, aperitifs, wine & coffees came to €30 a head, traditional complimentary liqueurs generously poured,
all highly recommendable

Hmmm! duunno! about that, can be a bit snooty and limited in choice, I feel you can't beat La Bella Vita.Scarface76 wrote:Julios in my opinion is best in area.
