Lagoa restaurants
Tried two places this week in Lagoa and both really good. Never really ate in Lagoa before except at Chrissys.
Tapas No Bucho in the centre was popular at lunchtime and offers tasty tapas and good wine by the glass and you can sit outside.
Then discovered Gaspacho e Midas opposite the GNR station which is new this year. Very popular with the locals and has good lunchtime specials with a modern twist. Glad both have survived this year but can see why. Will return to both

Re: Lagoa restaurants
We too have been to Gaspatcho & Migas in Lagoa & found it an excellent place to eat with food with great taste & flavours. The staff were very good & the owner took the time to come to every table to see if everything was okay, a nice touch which you don't always get at other places.

We have booked to go to Gaspatcho & Migas, it sounds great. We also like Chrissys & Tapas No Bucho. I would also recommend Algarvia 31, we had cover followed by beautifully cooked sea bass and mixed meat. The house red was also very good. No dessert other than fresh fruit offered all at a very reasonable price. The chef was friendly and spoke good English.
