Any reviews on the 'new' Bote yet?

When we went, which was a couple of Fridays ago, we really enjoyed it. I am sure a bottle of beer was only €2,50. It was free to get in. There were a lot of older people in there i.e. not so many teenagers and we bumped into a lot of people we knew who live around the area. All in all we thought it was ok and I'm getting a bit old for nightclubs! I will definitely be going back though.

Having read the reviews on here I wasn't sure what to expect but i have to say I loved it. It has a fab view over the beach, by far the best view of any bar in the town. The decor is great too. Its a million times better than the old nightclub that used to be there. How can anyone not want to sit on that terrace and drink the night away! For those of you that haven't yet been I would highly recommend it. It really isn't the teenage "foam party" nightclub it used to be (Sorry to those of you who liked that but it wasn't my thing)

I went in last night, and i've been a few times over the summer, and its changed again. The downstairs was closed, so that it is just a bar upstairs, doesn't feel like a nightclub anymore. The sofas are now inside making it really cosy, I can't wait to sit there in the winter! They are also serving some food now in the evenings, and they said that they would be gradually improving the range of things that they do. Now they're doing a special rate on the drinks, its omewhere I'll definitely be spending a lot of time!
