Gluten free eating in Carvoeiro.
Daughter recently diagnosed with Coeliac . Any tips on the most accommodating restaurants in Carvoeiro? Please.

Hi
This topic has cropped up before when someone asked about vegan restaurants I’m sure. I suggest you use the forums search engine to see posts about gluten free restaurants. Bound to be advice from other forum members.
Hope this helps.

Hi There
Gluten free eating in Carvoeiro is not difficult if you choose your restaurant carefully.
Being Coeliac myself I find that the Portuguese way of cooking meets my needs. Pure food cooked without the need to 'bulk' things out.
We have lived here for six years now and I can honestly say that it has not been a problem.
Just ask when arriving at the place you wish to eat and I'm sure you will be given options that are gluten free.
Happy and safe eating.
For Gluten free shopping all the supermarkets, Intermarche etc stock a good range of gluten free foods.
