Walk Thursday 24 November 2016 : Odiaxere (Closed)

PLEASE NOTE THIS WALK WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR 1 DECEMBER...but is now closed

This is another Easy Thursday Stroller walk , discovered & lead by Willie.

Degree of Difficulty ( scale 1:5) : It is a 1, easy, without doubt and there are bird watching opportunities at the river.

Directions: Drive to Lagoa and turn left on the N125 until you get to Odiaxere, a village on the N125 between Portimao and Lagos, about 15 miles to the west of Carvoeiro.
Meet in the square next to the church in the centre of Odiaxere. Coming from Portimao it is on LHS, look for the orange golfe sign. There is plenty parking and cafes close by.

No doubt we will find somewhere for lunch after the walk!

Usual caveats: all walks are at your own risk, and we do not walk if it is pouring with rain.....I will endeavour to put any cancellation note on this site by 0830 on the day of the walk.

Walking boots/stout trainers , walking pole(s), hats and water recommended but not really necessary. No charge, of course.

Hi all
As above, I have had to switch the walks of 24 November with 1 December.

This should not be a problem for Helen & Nigel, Mary & Paddy and Russell who signed up for both. However, Sandy & Gordon and Christine signed up for Odiaxere on 1 December but that is now Pocco Barreta.

The Pocco Barretta walk is a little more taxing than the Odiaxere one, but not a lot.

Trust this isn't a problem......but could you confirm please?
