WALK -MONDAY 20 MAY 2024 - RIBBA E SERRA

[Linda and Russell]

Linda and Russell will be leading this walk which is mostly on good tracks in the countryside. We head up a gradual hill and then stay at the top enjoying nice views down to the valleys below. There should be some shade from the trees but no water for the dogs. We get a fantastic 360 view on this walk. The walk is about 9kms. Bring a pole if you use one and wear good footwear, walk at your own risk and no charge.

Meeting point: Cafe Pasto Riba E Serra, Rasmalho. Meeting time: 9.15 am.

Directions to meeting point: Exit the N125 at Portimao following the sign to Monchique. At the roundabouts keep following the sign for Monchique. You will come onto the N266, then pass a petrol station on the left. After a km you will come into Rasmalho and the cafe is on the left hand side. Please park on the right hand side as we will car share to the start of the walk which is 3kms further along.

The cafe should be open for drinks at the start. We will drive round to Restaurant Ourique for lunch after the walk.

We would of joined you but we will be away tomorrow for a few days in the Alentejo and then over the border to Spain. Hope you both had a good time in Egypt.
