Hi all
We have a guest leader for this walk, Ray having kindly volunteered.

Meet in carpark at bottom of castle in Ferraguedo at 1000 for a walk of just over 2 hours. Stout trainers/walking boots/poles recommended. No charge, of course.

Directions: from Carvoiero, drive on the "out" road past Intermarche and turn left at roundabout signposted Sesmarias/Ferraguedo before you get to Lagoa. Follow road through Sesmarias to Ferraguedo. As you come down the hill , you will see the old castle on the left. Park in large carpark on left at the bottom of this hill.

If weather deteriorates , bring wetweather gear or ring before 0930 on 282 380015.

We arrive Faro late morning on the 16th Jan so will miss the walk that day but would like to join you on the 23rd please.

Unfortunatley we will miss this walk as we are arriving on 2nd Feb and staying until 12th Feb. Is anyone planning a walk that we could join during our stay?

hi Gerrit....long time no see.....you were on our very first walk with Caroline, whom we have seen a couple of times since. Thinking of doing a coastal walk on feb 6th, you OK with that?

Great walk this morning! Really enjoyed the walk, the weather, the fabulous scenery and most of all the company of like-minded people. Makes a change from walking on my own out here.

We had a good turnout of 18 for Ray's walk, lovely weather and great views from the cafe.....in fact so many, I had to take 2 photos to get everyone in! Nice to see so many returning faces, as well as new ones.
