Hi all

Dates for walks, starting at 1000 and lasting about 2 to 2.5 hours are as follows:

Thursday 1 November ( yes, in the hunting season, but this will not be a country one!)
Monday 5 November
Monday 12 November
Monday 19 November
Monday 26 November

We usually end up at a local cafe for a coffee or beer.

We now have a repertoire of about a dozen walks, graded hard, medium and easy : we can try and match these walks with people's abilities/preferences and whether they have done some walks before, if you can let us know below if you can attend.
Otherwise , we will publish details of locations nearer the time

We could adjust the days if there is sufficient demand....such as an extra walk on a saturday.

No charge, of course.

Weather permitting...ring 282 380015 before 0900 on day if unsure!

Please remember that all walks are undertaken at your own risk.

I'm coming out to CVO for the whole of October and maybe into November and would love to come on some walks if I'm still there - are you planning any in October? You certainly seem very organised!

Long time no see Jerry...or so it seems.....I am afraid we won't be out there in October, hence walks in November...hope you can stay on a bit ( & collect some more wine!)

We'll be there Geoff.....we need the training....next April, Julia and I intend to spend 6 weeks walking the 700km Camino de Sanatigo across northern Spain.

I'm a new Jerry! Though the other Jerry sounds interesting! I'm staying at Bill and Jackie's apartment during October and hopefully into November, they will be doing some walking in October too so I can join them

How confusing....the Jerry I thought you were has a place at Rocha Brava and, interestingly enough, also knows Jackie & Bill! ( That's the Jackie & Bill who live between CVO and Sesmarias, not the Jackie & Bill who have a place in the centre of CVO...life can get complicated!)
That Jerry drives down to the Algarve,and goes back laden with wine, hence my comment!

Are you the Jerry that had a posting elsewhere about getting a long let in October, having been made redundant? If so, I added a post to that entry, referring you to my walks as that Jerry liked walking.
If its's not you, there must be a third Jerry out there!

Dont worry there's no army of Jerry's about to descend on CVO! Yes I am coming out for a long stay after I take early redundancy in September (saw your other post about that thanks)

I know one or two folk up at the tennis club and hope to play regularly during my stay as well as joining in with the walks and hopefully meeting a few forum members. I love CVO and keep looking longingly at the webcam view in the square - yet another day of cloudless skies! If you are back in the UK you know how horrendous this June is.

To clear up the confusion (or add to it) the Jacky and Bill who have an apartment in the centre of Carvoeiro have a slightly different name - Jacky not Jackie.
We will be over in September - sorry you are not there then Geoff as we were looking forward to joining you for a couple of walks. Jacky and Bill

Hi, Thought i would join in this. Never met the other Jacky and Bill as we were not on any of the walks they did with Geoff, however will hopefully meet in the winter on one of Geoff's walks. However we do have a link with both Jerrys. Sorry to say Jerry with the boot full of wine has not been around this year due to his wife being ill, we know he can not wait to get back to Carvoeiro and hopefully will turn up later in the year, when he does he will be out walking for sure.
