WALK MONDAY 18 JANUARY 2016 FROM FIGUERAS

Linda and Russell have volunteered to lead a new walk. Quite easy, mostly flat, apart from a steep climb at the start and finish. Approximately 8kms,2 hours. Meet in front of the sports ground at Figueras at 10am. To get there follow the N125 towards Lagos. Pass the Alvor turning and the Penina Golf on your left. A few kms further along you will see a sign on the right for Figuera, ignore the first sign and turn immediately right at the 2nd Figuera sign, immediately after going under the bridge. The meeting point is on your left just after you turn off the N125. Contact number is 0044 796 0552618. No coffee at the start but we can go to a café in the village after.

Please let us know if you are joining us. The usual rules apply as per Geoff. Wear suitable footwear for uneven ground. Walk at your own risk.

In fact we only arrived today , and stopped to have a coffee in Lagoa, only to meet 2 of the intrepid walkers, Jim and Jill, though I have to confess I didn't recognise them!
